The Association of Technology Industries in South-western Finland (Varsinais-Suomen Teknologiateollisuus ry in Finnish) is a regional association of the Federation of Finnish Technology Industries. Its members are technology companies across South-West Finland.
The Association has in depth knowledge of the industry’s operating environment and labour market policy and makes proposals and motions to central labour-market organizations and to the associations of different branches. The Association develops co-operation between regional organizations and communities. It also organizes study trips and educational courses on vocational, management and labour market policy.
The association works as a contact forum and lobbying channel for both its own members and for different interest groups.
The Association of Technology Industries in South-western Finland is a trust owned by its members and run by a board consisting of eleven representatives chosen at an annual general meeting.
