Fund for the Association of Finnish Steel and Metal Producers awarded over 300 000 euro grants

Technology Industries of Finland Centennial Foundation Fund for the Association of Finnish Steel and Metal Producers awarded on December 19, 2011 grants for the year 2012 to the amount of 309 900 euro.

The Association of Finnish Steel and Metal Producers founded in 2009 a fund to promote university-level research, teaching and studies of technology and business issues concerning the metals production and covering the entire processing chain. The fund is a part of the Technology Industries of Finland Centennial Foundation. The member companies of the fund are Outokumpu, Outotec, Rautaruukki, Boliden, Ovako and FNsteel.
