Association of Finnish Marine Industries
The Association operates as a branch association of The Federation of Finnish Technology Industries. Leading shipbuilding and ship repair yards, marine equipment manufacturers, turn-key suppliers in the field of marine technology, ship designers and the Finnish off-shore industry companies have joined the Association as members. The Association coordinates cooperation in industrial and economic policy between the companies in the sector.

The Association is a member of the following European Branch Associations:

Main activities
Currently the association’s most important activities are the promotion of sectoral networking in Finland, the national coordination of research and product development, the application of EU shipbuilding policy in Finland and representing the entire marine technology sector in international associations. In pursuit of its goals, the Association has established several internal working groups, e.g.:
