Ensuring the quality and availability of skilled professionals
The Federation of Finnish Technology Industries wants to ensure the quality and availability of skilled professionals for its member companies by:
- Activating co-operation between polytechnics, vocational education and training institutions, and companies and distributing best co-operation practices related to such
things as on the job training, project based learning, assessment of learning outcomes and lifelong learning.
- Participating, together with technology industry companies, in developing the curriculum for vocational qualifications relevant to the sector and exploring new approaches for the training and coaching of world-class vocational professionals.
- Participating in the development, marketing and evaluation of study programmes for supervisors in the technology industry.
- Supporting students who have chosen vocational education in one of the technology branches and providing them with information on different professions and career paths in the technology Industry.
